We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the First Prize in the public, anonymous architectural competition organized by the Slovene National Education Institute, which called for visionary concepts for the “Classroom of the Future.”
Our winning proposal envisions a spatial library of small-scale architectures, each tailored to different modes of learning and interaction. Drawing inspiration from futurist David Thornburg’s theory of archetypal learning spaces—the campfire, cave, watering hole, mountain top, and life journey—we reinterpreted these metaphors through a contemporary architectural lens to support flexibility, curiosity, and collaboration in future learning environments.
