SVET VMES, in collaboration with Arco and the Tektonika collective, has been awarded the Increased Third Prize in the Open Anonymous Urban Planning Competition for the Roška District in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The competition envisions a transformative development of the area, including the construction of a new Academy of Fine Arts and Design, a student residence, and a new Secondary School of Design and Photography, complete with associated sports facilities. The proposal reflects a forward-looking approach to urban and educational planning, integrating architectural, academic, and public life into a cohesive and vibrant district.
