We received an Increased Honourable Mention in the Open Anonymous Architectural Competition for the 27-unit Preska Primary School in Medvode.
Our proposal envisions a series of descending volumes with central “white spaces”—cascading atria designed for informal learning and social interaction. Classrooms line the perimeter, while rooftop terraces and playgrounds respond to the site’s dramatic slope and views. The design fosters a strong connection between architecture, landscape, and pedagogy—creating a vibrant, flexible learning environment that supports curiosity, community, and a sense of place.
We’re proud that the jury recognised the conceptual clarity and spatial sensitivity of our approach.
