After months of dedicated work, SVET VMES, in collaboration with the Slovene Ministry of Culture, the City Municipality of Ptuj, and the Regional Museum Ptuj-Ormož, proudly unveiled the renovation project of the historic Castle Granary in Ptuj. This landmark transformation will see the granary reborn as a public archaeological depot, designed to house and protect ancient monuments currently exposed to the elements in situ. By safeguarding these invaluable artefacts, the project not only preserves Ptuj’s rich Roman heritage but also unlocks its full cultural, educational, and interpretive potential for future generations.
