We are deeply honoured to be part of the large interdisciplinary team of curators and designers behind the permanent exhibition School is the Law! Education and Schooling in Slovenia Through Time, which opened in 2022 at the Slovene School Museum, the country’s oldest and first specialised museum.
Following an intensive collaboration that began more than a decade ago, the design of the permanent exhibition evolved into a thoughtful and comprehensive renovation of the entire museum. According to the award jury’s justification, despite the spatial limitations of its historic premises in the centre of Ljubljana, the museum has successfully revitalised its mission and enriched Slovenia’s contemporary museum landscape with high-quality and innovative programmes.
The Valvasor Prizes represent the highest distinction in Slovenian museology and are awarded annually by the Slovenian Museum Association. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the museum’s management, curators, and numerous collaborators for their outstanding contribution to this remarkable achievement.
