Girly Gallery
Girls' dressing room renovation at Ledina Grammar School
Ljubljana, Slovenia, 2012
Separation of paths.
Dressing room on a mezzanine.
The main objective in designing the "girly gallery" concept was the separation of the girls' dressing rooms from other possible users and creation of a tender, girly ambiance. We exploit the height of the space and insert a new level, made out of a steel frame which holds the girls’ new dressing room. The new gallery is veiled with white tarpaulin curtain which provides the girls with enough privacy. The lower level of the existing changing rooms is mainly used for storage space with baskets for sports equipment and other paraphernalia.
