October 5th, 2022 SVET VMES has completed a new small intervention - the renovation of changing rooms at Poljane Grammar School in Ljubljana. One of the design starting points was the preservation of the original symmetry of the space. As a result, the new program is compact and placed in four cubes, forming a crossroad. The exhibition is designed interactively, as a cabinet of curiosities. The deeper you investigate, by opening various drawers and hatches, the more detailed the information.
23rd November, 2021 SVET VMES was awarded the 3rd Prize at the Architectural competition for the renovation of High School in Jesenice, Slovenia. The project builds on the idea of two connected buildings, developed in the E-W direction, freeing the entire southern part of the plot for the school park. On the east, a visually lighter volume is added to the existing school, designed as "fun palace". Photo: svet vmes archive

With this in mind, we arranged the new shop with the use of "a single piece of architecture" – the continuous cabinet of curiosity that organizes and displays the museum's design products and publications.
