The AC Pentlja site lies in an area of central city activities with no housing. The western part of the plot is mostly agricultural (64%), while the eastern part is used mainly for commercial and small residential buildings, including an abandoned bus stop (36%). The current land use is inadequate given the pace of the city’s development plan.
As a key gateway, the site requires transformation through a municipal spatial plan. Despite traffic and noise, it holds strong potential for transport-oriented development, linking to the "Dolgi Most" Park & Ride and future rail hubs.

We proposed a "CAR CITY", a local enclave, where personal cars are not prosecuted but find their space in an abundance of parking spaces. A typical user of such area is a person who lives far from the city, commutes daily by car, leaving it on the outskirts, in order to enjoy the city center without worrying about the parking costs and the stress of finding a parking space. The parking spaces are not strictly defined, as they are a "shared space", where users constantly move borders.

Three building volumes are placed on a vast public plaza, forming a cluster of independent buildings. The cluster, with its strong and cohesive visual identity, marks the location as an important point in the city. Entrances to the individual units are created by folding the basic building volumes.
To ensure a strong visual identity and enhance the area's visibility, we drew inspiration from graphical elements commonly used in traffic signage. The bold black and white contrast acts as a strong signal, attracting attention while simultaneously confusing and exciting passersby.
