A compact program—amenities, showers, wardrobes, and storage—is stacked vertically in four cubes, forming a crossroad.

The design preserves the space’s original symmetry. Four stacked cubes form a crossroad, ensuring clear fire exits and passability. Moving the small gym’s entrance to the center improves accessibility for users and equipment.

The layout is simple: amenities and showers near the outdoor exit, and two mezzanine wardrobes above storage and a teacher’s desk by the atrium entrance. Limited floor space was addressed by stacking functions vertically, maximizing height.

The metal structure of the mezzanine is suspended from the load-bearing walls and existing columns. The enclosure of the cubes is self-supporting, suspended from the ceiling and made of perforated sheet metal on metal frames. The mezzanine envelope is a folding door that allows the storage areas to be accessed from all sides.
