Ivan Cankar Boarding School is located near the city center of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in the neighborhood of Poljane. The complex consists of three buildings - A, B, C with different but complementary programs. The first phase of design includes a comprehensive renovation of the common areas in the building B, built in 1980.

The project reimagines Building B as a fluid, living gallery, a space where pupils and staff live, work, and create within a distinct institutional identity.

This living gallery unfolds in two layers: the gallery walls, which serve as blank canvases for permanent or rotating exhibitions of pupils' artwork, and the objects in the gallery, functional sculptural elements that act as "permanent exhibits", activating the surrounding space.
