"La Crique" desert holiday resort will be situated on the east side of the Dakhla Peninsula between the Atlantic coast and inner lagoon, approximately 8 km from the city of Dakhla.

The resort will offer great views of the calm lagoon and there are several kite surfing centers nearby. "La Crique" will consist of 17 bungalows, complimented by a restaurant, a small spa, a swimming pool, beach access and accompanying utilities buildings, dimensioned according to the resort capacity. The client wishes to create a well-functioning resort with a welcoming atmosphere for various types of guests.

A unique feature of the resort will be its landscape design with heavy geometric structures inserted in the natural environment of the desert. From afar, the resort will look like a land art installation with large geometric structures (bungalow light shafts) covered with Cor-Ten cladding. Because of this the resort will become a new Dakhla tourist destination.

Simple platforms and pools will be inserted in the rocky coastline, sometimes hidden and sometimes exposed, depending on the tide. Guests will be able to swim and enjoy the pools, which will fill up with sea water and stay full long after the tide has receded.

Upon entering the resort through one of the sculptures or light shafts, a surprising new view will open to the visitor – a green oasis in the middle of the resort complex. Bungalows will be set up along the narrow coastline, which changes its atmosphere according to tide.
