SVET VMES was awarded 3rd Prize in the architectural competition for the renovation of the High School in Jesenice, Slovenia.
The proposal envisions two interconnected volumes oriented along an east–west axis, opening up the southern portion of the site for a generous school park. A new, visually lighter structure — conceived as a “fun palace” — is added to the eastern side of the existing building, creating a playful yet purposeful extension of the school's spatial and programmatic identity.
